Day 1 | Dharamkot to Triund
The trek begins from Dharamkot, which is at a distance of 2 km from McLeodganj. The 8 km trek will take 4-5 hours to complete, and as you move along the trail you will get to see the beautiful Kangra valley on one side, and the Dhauladhar ranges on the other. We will reach Triund meadow before sunset, which truly is the best part of this trek. The Triund trek is known for the views of sunsets it has got to offer.
For the night, we shall camp at the Triund meadow itself, where you will get to witness the spellbounding view of the starlit night sky. Around a warm campfire, under the dark, clear night sky that dotted with stars –try to picture it; doesn’t it seem absolutely amazing! After this, you will have a delicious dinner and take a good night’s rest in your tents after the exhausting 8 km trek.
Day 2 | Triund to Dharamkot
Wake up early and witness the breathtaking sunrise from the meadow and completely enchanted by its magical beauty! After a relaxation filled breakfast we can start our trek downwards– back to Dharamkot. The descent will be easier than the ascent, and it will also be much faster. Don’t forget to stop every once in a while to take in the gorgeousness that will be present around you.
